I have always thought that the original versions of fairytales told around a campfire were probably far naughtier than the bland versions that have been handed down to us. This version frees the darker, more lustful side of the well known tale.

I agree. The fact that our vocabulary even has a term - bowdlerisation - for this kind of moral expurgation, suggests it's been a quite common occurrence through the centuries. Especially when we started writing things down and printing copies, exposing naughty words to a much greater number of disapproving eyes!

You have one wild imagination! Who would think of turning a simple fable into a slumber of wet dreams and spankings? It took Princess Briar Rose to find that special hand that would put her to sleep and have her dream of the last words of her chosen apprentice last words.

If rewritten to appease an older audience, this sleeping beauty story would be the one to put its final seal—a fascinating adult version of one of the most famous fairytales ever written.

Thank you! I've always believed that creativity is the transmutation of old wisdom into new forms. There are so many new directions to venture, endless variations of morals and motivations. What would a sexually empowered princess do with her privilege? What tales can we tell now, that would have been unconscionable five centuries ago, when these fables were first written down?

I love kinky fairy tales. They always seem much more plausible than the common stories.

This is good.

Thanks for sharing your gift....

My pleasure! I've always thought the magic of fairytales was that they contained two stories, one light and one dark, coexisting, twisted around each other like a double helix, waiting to be untangled by a perceptive reader’s mind.

In the same text one might see a love story or a conquest, acts of ravishment or welcomed submission. One might see an abduction, where others see a character being swept away. Because we know the tales are fables, we're free to interpret them however we wish.
